Cipher was built
by Joe Davis.

I'm a musical director, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist based in Jamaica. I've worked with GloRilla, Res, Tessellated, Lila Iké, and artists across Jamaica and the US.

I built Cipher because I needed it. Every MD I know has a different system for writing charts — scraps of paper, notes apps, PDFs that don't update when the key changes. I wanted something that worked the way musicians actually think.

Cipher is that thing.

It's currently in private beta — being used and shaped by a small group of musicians I trust. If you're here, you're one of them. And when this goes public, you'll be credited for it.
